Montini art teacher celebrates 20 years at school

LOMBARD — Wanda Drabik, the chairperson of the Fine Arts Department at Montini Catholic High School, is celebrating her 20th anniversary of service at the school.

She joined the staff at Montini Catholic in the 1993-1994 school year as the only member of the art department. During her time at the school, she watched as the art department expanded its course offering, hired additional faculty members and improved its facilities.

Drabik has a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University, and began her career as a graphic artist in Chicago. She later taught at St. Joan of Arc in Lisle and Notre Dame Grade School in Clarendon Hills before coming to Montini.
