Diabetes support group at Adventist Hinsdale helps with healthy choices
HINSDALE — Controlling diabetes can be overwhelming, since managing the disease also means managing food intake. That’s why the Adventist Hinsdale Diabetes Center offers a free diabetes support group, so patients can learn what they need to know to make better decisions about their health.
The diabetes support group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at 121 N. Elm St., Elmwood Hall. The topics for the next two months are "Inflammation, the Real Cause of Most Diseases" (April 9) and "Is Sugar Toxic?” (May 14).
For more information about the group and what it has to offer, call 630-856-6717.
