Jacob Curby Cup international wrestling competition set for May 11

LA GRANGE —The Jacob Curby Foundation's Curby Cup will again be held at Lyons Township High School on Saturday, May 11 in the Fieldhouse.

Last year close to 5,000 spectators showed up for the international wrestling event held in memory of former U.S. National team member and LT grad Jacob Curby.

The 2013 U.S. National Greco-Roman Wrestling Team will take on the nations of Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania.

Youth and high school clinics will take place from 10 a.m until noon, preliminary rounds will take place at 1:30 p.m. and the opening ceremony and finals are set for 4 p.m.
