Fifth grade Junior Rams girls basketball completes first season

LOMBARD — The fifth grade Junior Rams girls basketball team completed its first season with an 11-6 record.

This was the first season this group of fifth graders played together as a team. They finished their season with a second place finish at the four-game West Suburban Girls Basketball Tournament.

The Junior Rams is a feeder program for Glenbard East High School.

The Junior Rams won their first three games of the event before losing to the Glen Ellyn Titans in the championship game.
