Prep Roundup- AT boys track wins four events at indoor meet

GIRLS INDOOR TRACK
York
Emma Fisher was second in the 1,600-meter run behind Glenbard West's Madeline Perez at the six-team York invite on Friday. Fisher finished second to Perez in the state cross country meet in the fall. Fisher ran a time of 5:05.55. Perez came in at 4:59.29. The Dukes 4-lap relay was second with a time of 1:49.88.

BOYS INDOOR TRACK
Addison Trail
Trey Smith won the 200-meter dash at the Morton boys indoor meet last Friday with a time of 23.6 seconds. Juan Valdez won the 600 in 1:29.3. Joe Atria was first in the 1,600 (4:37.8). The Blazers won the 4 x 400 relay with a time of 3:48.3. Overall, AT was fourth out of six teams.

BOYS WATER POLO
York
A 21-9 win over Riverside Brookfield on March 7 marked the beginning of the season. The Dukes moved to 2-0 with an 11-7 win over Mundelein on Monday.

GIRLS WATER POLO
York
The Dukes started the season with a 15-6 loss to Lyons Township on Friday. The girls bounced back with a 3-1 showing at the Northside Prep tournament on Saturday. The only loss came at the hands of Oak Park-River Forest, who also beat the Dukes 12-10 on Monday.

GIRLS BADMINTON
Willowbrook
The Warriors beat Wheaton Warrenville South 11-4 in the season opener.

BOYS GYMNASTICS
Glenbard East
The Rams were fourth in the District 87 Invite last Thursday, posting a 100.00 team score. Melik Prum had an all-around score of 32.8.
