New burger spot opens in Elmhurst City Centre

ELMHURST — Elmhurst's downtown City Centre is home to a new burger restaurant named Meatheads at 143 N. York St.

The fast-casual spot serves Angus beef burgers, fries, shakes, hot dogs, patty melts and other sandwiches and sides.

It celebrated its grand opening Monday with a ribbon-cutting.

This is the Bloomington-based chain's 11th location overall, according to the company, and seventh in the Chicago area.

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
