Nie to head Midwest sales for Advanced Disposal

BATAVIA – Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey Nie to Midwest regional sales manager. In his new role, he will oversee a team of six sales managers in four states. Nie will be responsible for the growth of revenue and the execution of sales and marketing programs for the sales and customer service teams.

“I’m pleased to have Jeff step in to this new role,” said Jay Rooney, Advanced Disposal regional vice president. “His sales experience both on a local and national level, coupled with his expertise of the Midwest marketplace will serve both our customers and the company well.”

Nie was most recently area sales manager for Advanced Disposal and served in the same capacity for Veolia Environmental Services Solid Waste prior to the acquisition. He oversaw the company’s Southeast Wisconsin and Missouri sales teams since September 2006.

Nie brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to this new position, including 18 years with Waste Management serving as price director for national accounts and sales director for the Midwest group. A native of Pennsylvania, Jeff and his wife, Kathy, have three children and a grandson.

Yunker named to lead health care insurance company BATAVIA- Batavia resident Daniel Yunker, has been named CEO of Land of Lincoln Health, a consumer operated and oriented plan that will offer high-quality, accessible health insurance in Illinois.  Yunker will also continue to serve Metro Chicago Health Corp. in his role as Senior Vice President, providing strategic executive oversight for the compny's MetroChicago Health Information Exchange, Business Resource Solutions, Human Capital Services and Employee Benefit Trust. Yunker, who joined MCHC in 2005, is a professor of finance with the University of Illinois at Chicago’s master of health care administration program, educating the next generation of health care leaders. He has also taken an active role in several other organizations including serving as the president-elect of the Healthcare Financial Management Association First Illinois Chapter, and as a board member for American Specialty Health Insurance Company.
Dreyer Welcomes psychologist
BATAVIA - Jennifer Lindsey, Psy.D., C.A.D.C., has joined the Department of Psychiatry at Dreyer Medical Clinic’s Fox Valley Villages location. Dr. Lindsey received her undergraduate degree from the Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2008, where she also went on to complete her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology in 2011. Dr. Lindsey completed both her internship and fellowship at the Palos Behavioral Health Professionals in Palos Park, Illinois. She is licensed in the State of Illinois as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Professional Counselor. Dr. Lindsey has special interests in child and adolescent psychotherapy and substance abuse disorders.
