GED Study Group to meet at Berwyn library

Published: Thursday, March 14, 2013 5:52 p.m. CDT

BERWYN — The GED Study Group will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Berwyn Public Library, 2701 S. Harlem Ave.

After taking pre-tests to determine which subjects need improvement, students study for the GED test using a personalized learning plan.

Some topics are studied as a group, while others topics may be studied one-to-one with a tutor, or studied independently using suggested materials. Students may use a library card to check out study books.

When students are ready, they can take a mock-GED full-length test to simulate the complete experience, which will let them know if they are truly ready to pass the test.

The group does not meet in the months of July and December due to seasonal low attendance.
