Bolingbrook Park District hosts Easter events

BOLINGBROOK — The Bolingbrook Park District will host two childrens' Easter events Saturday, March 23.

Beginning at 9 a.m. March 23, residents have two opportunities to eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Ashbury's at Boughton Ridge. The hour-long breakfast will be followed by a second 60-minute session beginning 10:30 a.m.

Registration fee is $13 with Bolingbrook resident identification, $19 without. Each person attending, adult and child, must register.

Program fee includes breakfast and will feature an Easter egg hunt.

At noon and 12:15 p.m. March 23, the park district will host underwater Easter egg hunts at Pelican Harbor. Under the supervision of parents, children can jump in the Pelican Harbor pool and collect as many eggs as possible.

The fee is $7 with a resident ID, $10 without. Prizes, candy and baskets will be awarded to children. Program fee also includes admission to Pelican Harbor.
