St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn holds concert for South Sudan

GLEN ELLYN — St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn hosted its eighth annual Concert to Bring Hope and Health to South Sudan last Saturday, according to a church news release.

All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase medicine and provide a midwife salary at the Renk Health Clinic in South Sudan.

In the past, funds have provided a new microscope for the clinic's lab and medications to treat malaria. The clinic is run by the Diocese of Renk of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.
