Bolingbrook soccer blasts by Bremen

Six players score seven goals as Raiders offense heats up on cold night.

BOLINGBROOK — It was a chilly night, but the offense for Bolingbrook's girls soccer team was on fire.

The Raiders dominated the attack and scored five second half goals to top Bremen 7-0 Wednesday in Bolingbrook.

Nikia Smith and Caroline Harvey netted first half goals, Smith's opening score holding up as the game-winner.

Less than five minutes into the second half Dayle Trietjen lobbed a 26-yard chip shot into the net. A little over five minutes after that Andrea Sanchez ran onto a long through ball and made it 4-0. Rachel Schneider scored twice and Bianca Rivera also scored as the Raiders improved to 2-0-0 on the year.
