Wheaton Warrenville South wins girls indoor track invite
The Wheaton Warrenville South girls track team placed first at the Hinsdale Central four-team event on Saturday.
The Tigers had seven individual champions and posted a score of 82.5.
Jessica Spera led the way, winning both the 55-meter hurdles (8.8) and the long jump (15-11.75).
Mikayla Kightlinger was first in the 3,200 (11:51.0), Erin Herrmann won the 800 (2:26.6) and Mary Eganhouse was victorious in the 400.
Also first were McKenna Kiple (1,600), Jordan Elkey (shot put) and Heidi Nassos (pole vault).
