Bolingbrook fire, police deal with hazardous conditions, all roads remain open
BOLINGBROOK — Tuesday's snow storm is expected to continue until early Wednesday morning, but Bolingbrook police and fire officials say there have been no serious, storm-induced accidents.
The snow began to fall about 6 a.m., and Bolingbrook Public Works Director Mike Drey said that salt trucks and plows will continue to plow the village's streets. All Bolingbrook streets remain open.
Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa said there have been a few minor traffic accidents, but "nothing serious." Bolingbrook Fire Department confirmed that no trucks have been dispatched.
On Monday, Valley View School District canceled all Tuesday classes and district sponsored after-school activities.
