Elmhurst Artist Guild to host reception Friday for National Art Premiere 2013
ELMHURST — Artists from across the U.S. are exhibiting an eclectic variety of traditional and contemporary works in National Art Premiere 2013, opening Tuesday in the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Gallery at the Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 S. Cottage Hill Ave.
Forty-two artists from a dozen states have used media as varied as chalk pastel on paper, oil painting, watercolor, steel sculpture, solar plate etching and digital composite in their juried entries to the show.
An artists’ reception, free and open to the public, will be in the gallery from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
