Lemont High School looks for child actors for upcoming 'Peter Pan' performance
LEMONT — Lemont High School is seeking child actors to fill roles in its upcoming spring musical, "Peter Pan".
The school is looking for up to 30 students from fifth through seventh grades to fill roles as "indians" or "lost boys". The drama club needs at least 20 boys to fill the roles of the "lost boys", who will also play "indians". Actresses who are selected will fill the role of "indians".
Child actors will be expected to sing, dance and act like children for their audition. Those auditioning will be asked to sing "Old McDonald's Farm". They will do two verses and can pick any two animals they wish to be on "the farm". The actors/actresses will also be expected to read lines they will be given that day as part of the audition.
Parents of students interested in auditioning should click here to print the audition form to return to the school's Pupil Personnel Services no later than March 11.
Auditions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. March 12.
