Bolingbrook High School student College, Trade and Career Fair planned for March 14
BOLINGBROOK—Bolingbrook High School juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to explore higher education possibilities at the school’s College, Trade and Career Fair 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 14.
"This is a very unique event because colleges, trades and all of the military branches will be present," said Bolingbrook High School Transition Specialist Gina Rafalski. "This is a great opportunity for all of our students to talk with representatives about programs that will help guide their future careers."
Among colleges and universities that will be on hand are Augustana, Benedictine, College of DuPage, Columbia, Concordia, DeVry, Eastern Illinois, Elmhurst, Fox, Illinois Center for Broadcasting, Illinois Institute of Art, Joliet Junior College, Lewis, Loyola, North Central, Northern Illinois, Purdue-Calumet, Rasmussen, Saint Francis, Saint Xavier, Southern Illinois and Western Illinois.
Over 20 trade schools will also be in attendance.
Military branches represented will include the Air Force, Air National Guard, Army, Army National Guard, Coast guard, Marines and Navy.
Students will be encouraged to wear professional clothing from their existing wardrobes.
