Plymouth Place to host performance of Elizabeth Cady Stanton
LA GRANGE PARK — In honor of National Women’s History Month, Eileen Vorbach will perform as Elizabeth Cady Stanton at 7 p.m. Friday at Dole Hall in Plymouth Place.
Stanton was an American social activist and leading figure of the early women’s movement. Her Declaration of Sentiments, presented during the first women’s rights convention held in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York, is often credited with initiating the first organized women’s rights and women’s suffrage movements in the U.S.
The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested. For more information, call 708-482-6511 or email email@example.com.
Plymouth Place is located at 315 N. La Grange Road in La Grange Park.
