Burr Ridge man surrenders to police, search uncovers guns and ammo
BURR RIDGE — A 20-year-old Burr Ridge man surrendered himself to the Burr Ridge Police Department last week for allegedly being in possession of a firearm that was stolen from a September 2012 burglary in town.
Daniel Swayka, of 16W236 94th St., was charged with possession of stolen property valued at more than $500, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm without a valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card, unlawful possession of a firearm ammunition without valid FOID card and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Swayka surrendered himself to police on Thursday and was released on $100,000 bond.
