Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority plans Bolingbrook Teen Summit
BOLINGBROOK—Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Chi Sigma Omega Chapter will host the fifth annual Teen Summit 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Bolingbrook Community Center.
This free, "Youth on Fire" themed event will feature workshops and activities educating teens about physical and mental health issues, non-violent conflict resolution, anger management and youth rights.
Additionally, Chi Sigma Omega has invited college representatives to share information about university admissions processes and financial aid.
The Teen Summit is free to the public; however, advance online registration is preferred.
Chi Sigma Omega is a local graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which serves the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. Their mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards while implementing programs that promote the international initiatives aligned with “Global Leadership Through Timeless Service.”
