RIVERSIDE — The Riverside Brookfield High School Student Association is planning a fundraiser to aid a student at Komarek School in North Riverside.

Daniele Santucci is a kindergarten student attending Komarek School in North Riverside. She has suffered from cerebral palsy since birth and a few weeks after her 6th birthday, she was diagnosed with liver cancer.

The Student Association is organizing a fundraiser in Daniele’s honor. "Dreams for Daniele" will include T-shirt and bracelet sales, a spirit week and an assembly, where students and staff may cut and donate their hair. This event will be similar to St. Baldrick’s, but the hair donated will go to Pantene Beautiful Lengths and the money raised will go directly to the Santucci family.
