Historical society to open special fire department exhibit
LOMBARD — On Sunday, a special exhibit will open at the Lombard Historical Society celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Lombard Fire Department.
The exhibit will be set up at the Carriage House, 23 W. Maple St., which will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Victorian Cottage Museum, also on the property will be open to visitors from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
At the Lombard Fire Department exhibit, visitors can see historic photos, memorabilia, uniforms and more from the past 100 years.
