KCM Beautiful Things presents its January Crafts & Cocktails class called “Watercolors & Wine Coolers” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Arts in Bartlett Center for the Arts.
Participants will paint a floral piece and, if time allows, will work on a landscape. The class will be taught by Streamwood artist Jenny Vogt (jennyvogt.com).
“You don’t have to be an artist,” notes KCM’s Kathleen Malick. “You just have to love making something of your own. You don't have to be 21 to attend, but you have to be if you would like to drink.”
Materials and light snacks are provided. Participants bring their own beverages.
The center is at 118 W. Bartlett Ave., Unit 2. Registration is required, and the course costs $20 per person. To register, visit www.kcmbeautifulthings.com. The classes in the series also can be taught at outside location for groups.
