Scott AndrewsYEAR JuniorSCHOOL Glenbard West Adding a different dimension to the Hilltoppers offense with his ability to get to the outside and break off long runs, this junior led the team in rushing this fall. Andrews finished the season with 1,273 yards on the ground and also topped Glenbard West with 21 total touchdowns.

Kyle BoschYEAR SeniorSCHOOL St. Francis One of the top offensive lineman in the state, the University of Michigan recruit helped the Spartans rush for 2,116 yards this fall, averaging over 6.4 yards per attempt.

Hayden CarlsonYEAR JuniorSCHOOL Glenbard West A physical presence in the secondary for the Hilltoppers, this junior became a main cog of the team’s dominant defense. Carlson was second on the unit with 82 solo tackles to go along with 49 assists, which included a combined 14-tackle performance in the state game.

Kellen ClevelandYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Wheaton North A force on the defensive line for the Falcons, Cleveland finished the fall with 25 solo tackles and 20 assists. He topped Wheaton North with 12 tackles for loss and totaled 6.5 sacks.

Dan ChismYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Wheaton Warrenville South Named to the 2012 Illinois Football Coaches Association Class 7A all-state team, this senior was also named the top defensive lineman in the DuPage Valley Conference. Chism has offers from both Coastal Carolina and Army.

Bret CurtisYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard South A two-time Metro Suburban All-conference performer, this middle linebacker was the league’s defensive player of the year this fall. He notched 102 total tackles in 10 games to go along with 10 sacks.

Tyler DaytonYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard West With the loss of standout linebacker Erik Strittmater to a broken leg in Week 1, everybody else had to step up and Dayton certainly did. This senior was all over the field for the Hilltoppers, registering a team-high 102 solo tackles to go along with 32 assists.

Nick GarlandYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard West Named to the 2012 Illinois Coaches Association Class 7A all-state team, this senior was the leader of an offensive line unit that helped pave the way for over 3,100 yards rushing this fall and an average of nearly 36 points per game.

John GemmelYEAR JuniorSCHOOL Wheaton Academy The running back finished with 872 yards on just 131 attempts, averaging 6.7 yards per carry, while scoring 16 touchdowns. He also caught 11 passes for 114 yards.

D’Angelo HodgesYEAR Senior SCHOOL Glenbard North Described by head coach Ryan Wilkens as possibly the best offensive lineman Glenbard North has had, this 6-foot-3, 285-pound senior and his linemates were the foundation of a unit that rushed for over 3,300 yards.

Justin JacksonYEAR JuniorSCHOOL Glenbard North A superstar and workhorse all wrapped into one, this junior was dominant week in and week out despite being the focal point of every opposing defense. Jackson compiled 2,602 rushing yards and 39 total touchdowns while also playing full time in the defensive secondary.

Matt LoosYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard South A three-year starter for the Raiders, this senior didn’t come off the field often. Playing outside linebacker, Loos totaled 62 tackles and two sacks. Offensively, he added 470 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 56 carries while catching nine passes for 155 yards and three TDs.

Nathan MarcusYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard West A big target at 6-foot-5, this senior is a matchup nightmare for opposing defensive backs. Headed to Vanderbilt, Marcus wrapped up his Hilltoppers career by hauling in 56 catches for 939 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 16.8 yards per catch.

Andrew MulshineYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard North Named to the all-DuPage Valley Conference team, this senior helped anchor the defensive line for the Panthers. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior created havoc from his end position and wrapped up his high school career with three solo tackles in the state championship game.

Brian MurphyYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard North The unquestioned leader of the Panthers offense, this senior quarterback can beat teams with both his arm and his legs. An improved passer, he completed 84-of-162 attempts this season for 1,475 yards while also rushing for 557 yards and five scores.

John PeltzYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Wheaton North Completing over 70 percent of his passes, this senior threw for 1,891 yards and 19 touchdowns this fall against only four interceptions. Peltz also was second on the Falcons in rushing yards with 280 to go along with three scores. He also caught 11 passes for 142 yards and two TDs.

Mario RodriguezYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Glenbard North This senior linebacker took his game to another level this fall. The DuPage Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Rodriguez led Glenbard North with 50 solo tackles and 35 assists while also averaging nearly 33 yards per punt.

Luke SahlyYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Wheaton North A unanimous all-DuPage Valley Conference selection and the Falcons defensive MVP, Sahly tallied 30 solo tackles and 35 assists. Most impressively, he notched 10 tackles for loss, including 6.5 sacks, while adding two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Patrick SharpYEAR SeniorSCHOOL Wheaton North A consistent force in the backfield for Wheaton North over the past three seasons, Sharp averaged 5.2 yards per rush. He finished with 777 yards and 13 touchdowns while also catching 11 passes for 106 yards and one score.

Clayton ThorsonYEAR JuniorSCHOOL Wheaton North This Division I quarterback recruit completed 32-of-44 passes for 401 yards and seven touchdowns. He was also second on the team in receiving with 36 catches for 578 yards and four TDs while rushing for an additional 272 yards and four touchdowns.
