Acclaimed Chicago handbell ensemble The Agape Ringers present 'Sounds of the Season' Dec. 15 in Elmhurst
Chicago handbell ensemble The Agape Ringers will present its "Sounds of the Season" concert at 4 p.m. Dec. 15 at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 West Brush Hill Road in Elmhurst.
Many Christmas favorites in new and interesting arrangements will be presented along with selections from Tchaikovsky’s "The Nutcracker Suite," accompanied by their guest artists from Midwest Ballet Theatre.

Listeners are entranced by the ensemble’s energy, precision and musicality. Since its founding in 1992, The Agape Ringers has made more than 270 appearances across North America, and internationally in Puerto Rico, and England. The ringers recently returned from a twelve-day Midwest tour.
The ensemble from Chicagoland was featured on WTTW’s “Artbeat Chicago,” enjoys an on-going collaboration with pianist and composer Joel Raney, and has performed with jazz trumpeter Orbert Davis, the Rockford Symphony, the North Shore Choral Society, the Illinois Brass Band, the Elgin Choral Union, the West Suburban Symphony, and the West Towns Chorus.
